CONGRATULATIONS
Firstly a big congratulations to friend of the range Steve who completed a triathlon in an amazing 5hrs and 40mins !
we invited him down to shoot straight afterwards to add another discipline but he declined for some reason ?
Well done mate and see you, Ruth, Freddie and Jonah back on the range real soon .......
Secondly we have a very happy shooter down on the range !
One of our regular shooters after much deliberation (And I mean a lot) Kay has took the plunge and purchased her new gun - The BSA R12 CLX Pro in a lovely cayenne stock. A fine choice !
Lets hope she handed her big bag of excuses in at the gunshop with her old gun ! ..... onward and upward now.

Many thanks to all who came to have fun with us on Fathers day.
Lots of fun was had by all who attended and us here on the range too it was a great day.
We don't know if it was planned but the dads that attended all walked away with the prizes !
Many completed a couple of our challenges here too.
HOPEFULL NEWS UPDATE ON EXPANSION PLANS.
As our members and visitors know we have been looking for a more suitable site for expansion for a while now. Somewhere that can offer the facilities we need on a larger scale to accommodate what we want to do within our shooting community.
We now have a provisional agreement with Middlesbrough council with regard to getting the land to use.
We are now moving forward into the planning stage !
Watch this space and hopefully we can provide the longest air rifle range in our area really soon.
Daystate & Brocock Experience day. 3rd & 4th July 2025.
Daystate are running their experience days again this year at Sandon hall staffordshire. A small compliment of our range members and friends of the range have expressed an interest in attending, As we did with he national shooting show, if enough people show an interest we will organise a bus to travel down. Its a fantastic couple of days where you can shoot the compliment of Daystate & Brocock rifles including High power ones this year and of course the new Daystate Blackwolf. Experts from both company's along with MTC Scope representatives will be there to give In-depth information on all of their products. More details are available on the Daystate website here:

Airgun Law
YOUR GUN IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
Airgun laws that govern rifles and pistols in the UK are very simple BUT very strict. Failure to adhere to them and committing offences can lead to confiscation of your gun and can carry a custodial sentence.
Our range only covers sub 12ftlb rifles and sub 6ftlb pistols that can be held without certification. Anything with a greater power output are governed by firearms laws and must be held under a firearms certificate. we reserve the right to chronograph any gun before its used on our range for safety and to keep within the law.

We offer a cheap chronograph service, which tests your guns power and emails your results to you so you have a date stamp and proof of compliance and responsible gun ownership. Just bring your gun along and your normal pellets of use.
